Silent Hours Walk And Whisper...

Silent hours walk and whisper
A senile solitude in my eyes.
Won't leave me alone,
These memories.
They sit on my bed
And dream with me
Live with me forever
On a cold Earth.

I grow old and blind
And ever more foolish,
Time pinches my skin
Rots my hair.
The ghosts do not change
They remain the same age
As they died in my arms,
Forever young in a world
As old and as cold
As the dreary moon
