I'm better than I've been,
by Thomas Plotz
In a number of days,
I shook the warm hand of my sister today,
Then I called her by her wrong name,
I had to leave her alone, as I turned away,
And had to crawl back home today,
Singing..., my face blindness, got the best of me again,
It got the best of me.
Singing..., where do, they go, they go
Where do they go, when they don't find me?
Thinking of her smile, so big and bright,
I wish I got your name right,
It's been too long my Family, my Sister dear,
It's been far, far too long.
