Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Sitting, waiting, wishing for you,
hoping, praying that it's true.
What much else could I do,
I sit at home and feel blue.

Sitting, waiting, wishing for me,
hoping and praying that it would just be.
There is not much else to see,
all I could do was put out a plea.

Sitting, waiting, wishing for us,
hoping and praying we were a must.
Laying here making such a fuss,
I don't feel this is just.

Sitting, waiting, wishing to be together,
hoping and praying it don't take forever.
Until then I will be under the weather,
sitting, waiting, wishing for forever.
