Skull Of A Jew

Below the home of that Solomon czar
I hear the rabbi’s whispers from afar
What was that? What did you say? Does what really matter anyway?
Dark eyes staring at the wailing wall
Mascara crumbling beneath eyelids drooping down
Answer me! What did you pray? Why do you forge my way?
'What way is that', was his reply
He smiled and raised his big brown eyes
He said, 'I don't give a damn what you do
And I really don't care what happens to you
You wail in the dark if you remember the tune
And recite your tyranny of gloom and doom
But there is one thing you can do for me...'
He shifted his locks and knelt to his knees
He said, ' I don't give a damn what you do
Just bring me back that skull of a Jew
No, I really don't care what happens to you
I want a long cold glass of that panic brew'

The rain is coming down in sheets
And mortar shells fired to Gaza’s streets
There’s a statement written on tinted glass
Above a doorway of a kindergarten class
‘Busted skulls cracked at the suture
We’re the young martyrs of the future’
My eyes are glued to this red flag
He just kneels there, peace is such a drag

In the Jibaliya refugee camp dip
Lipstick smears a bloodied lip
He say’s 'I just need something to see me through
Something to keep me from coming unglued
I don't know what I’ll do, wait, ... I know what I’ll do
I know what I’ll do I’ll pop the cork on that panic brew
I’ll take a crack at that skull of a Jew'
