Smack, Smack, Smack

Smack, Smack, Smack is the sound of the fist hitting you
Beating every little bit of hope out of you life
Your confidence slips from under you and abandons you
Your common sense is shouting in your face “TELL SOMBODY”
But your fear sets in and with a calm steady voice says “He will beat you more, don’t tell”
You go home every day and cry, letting them win in their war on you? Have they already won?
You tell yourself that you will stand up to them, you tell yourself this again, again and again
As you walk in to the gates of your hell, your fear kicks you and says “Are you joking? ”
You continue walking knowing that you will stand up to them
He walks up to you, you fall in to the pit of fear which you cannot miss
I wish I had told, I wish I had stood to them
