Snowglobe

Slowly stroll,
into that tiny city,
with wooden dolls
and plastic trees.

Through the world of mindless friends,
and flightless wind
with silence so cold,
it's piercing from within.

With plastic snow
and never ending glitter that falls
from the rounded glass sky
that ends into nothingness.

you live in a world
that's pure, fantastic,
beautiful, peaceful
but, don't forget that

L.O.S...I love this poem...you are very talented. Whjat an interesting perspective to take...what a fantstic journey it would make...to be ohhh so small, and be able to fit in tiny places. Love the imagery! Hugs, Dee
Beautiful. The details of the beauty within a snowglobe, the wooden dolls, the plastic trees, the rounded glass sky, the glitter, is so mesmerizingly portrayed. The last line cuts through, sharply, with the stark reality that is true. Lovely.
