So What If I'M 50
Poem By Ken Murray
Today I am 50 and all through the house,
I was greeted with smiles from my lovely spouse.
I got some great presents, some kisses and hugs,
some pictures were taken of my drooping mug.
This is the first time that I'm feeling old,
my bones are all creaking, my skin looks like mold.
To my wife and my daughter, I blow a sweet kiss,
I'm looking so forward to my birthday bliss.
So what if I'm 50, I'm not really sad,
I'm still a little brother, a husband, and dad.
