Someone I Know
And she willed it, evermore so silent,
by kevin hartley
moulding it deeper, her heart till small.
Not bearing this weight, such a tiny burden,
so did build a solid but unseen wall.
Still her mind did slowly drown this jewel,
conspiring to evade the chaos as love and life collide.

Until she looked into her mirrored gaze,
did this wall of thought begin its total demise.
Slowly giving in to a seed of faith,
as she was reminded of how it felt to love again, and be alive.
