Something's Never Change

Poem By David Darbyshire

Streetlights from Red to Green
Or me feeling like Eighteen
Someone that never goes Out
Or in India the long Drought
Something's never Change
The world keeps turning Around
A Girl coming off the Rebound
The Bus that Always comes Late
Also that Job you Hate
The water that drips from the Tap
In the afternoons a long Nap
The Cat that sits on your Lap
It is Strange
Somethings never Change

Nice poem David. I like when things become so routine you can count on them. :) Sincerely, Mary
