Songs Of Invigoration: Jazz
Poem By Rafael Cazares
Sweet, sweet melodies.
Smooth like slithering dolphins dipping in and out of the crystal blue.
The accord of the harmonies is
breathing to life exotic trees with perfumes of lemons, oranges, and thousands of colorful breezes.
Vacant hammock, awaiting, to oscillate us with such musical pace,
our memories just seem to wash away in the waves;
Our masters in turn become our slaves.
Spontaneous and wild;
It Bangs and It bites
It puts the soul on a skyward flight
on romantic moonlit nights.
The simmer cooling the fright.
Death bringing you to life.
The peace granted to the damned.
