Songs Of The High Country

Soria, in blue mountains,
on the fields of violet,
how often I’ve dreamed of you
on the plain of flowers,
where the Guadalquiviŕ runs
past golden orange-trees
to the sea.

Blue mountains always attract me nice poem.
This guy pulled me out of my urban cubbyhole. I've always admired nature poets but could never identify or stick with them very long. Machado changed my perception of all that with only a few poems. Mary Oliver's recommendations never fail. EVERYONE should give this guy a shot.
