Sonnet #1

Poem By Timmy Curran

The sun breaches the night
A new day is born
Tis but a human right
Though usually regarded with scorn
The dreams are wiped away
A fresh reality slowly sets in
Just five more minutes to lay
before compiling new sin
Walking to the squandered town
Where everything seems to be
and everything in between
Where a paradise lost
sells everything at any cost

Unguarded Temptations

I don't grasp to them too tight,
yet in the misty recollections
of what could be called my life reflections
they come to me, unsummomed,

so far, the haul of
the days, above white squalls
Easy for you, the rumors

Born Yesterday

Getting Attention From The Wrong People

Getting attention from the wrong people
Young and I´m fresh and my strut is lethal
I´d ask you your name but I get cold feet, girl
Getting attention from the wrong people
