Sonnet: A Lost Friendship

You were my friend then: now almost stranger!
Our friendship appeared once very glorious;
What happened meantime, gives me great anger;
Our friendship no longer remains serious.

Wow, I can relate to this very well. It’s like it was describing some of my memories. Amazing 😉
Great poetry it was helpful
The poem I don’t even rhyme.
Dear friend however, you can’t be my foe; I hope that our friendship, blossoms once more! What a touching poem it is! For I have a friend also now which seems too far from me.: (
This has helped me a lot in my studies
Great lines you got here.
So so true of so many friendships so I know many can relate. One thing we must never do is listen to the words of others who might be of jealous mode. These people use others and talk against them in order to make themselves look good not caring abut the devastation of those who had a great friendship. I love your poem, it's true to life.....
beautiful description loved it
A passionate plea for relationship restoration. Well done.
A lovely poem on friendship in a Shakespearean sonnet format.
Nice poem on friendship.
A lovely desire to win back a lost friend, a nice poem.
here! here! great poem, I know exactlly how you feel. what was once there, has gone from me, what was shown no longer seen. friendship it was friendship it seemed, but now that friendship is nothing more than a floaded dream, until that one day my friend comes back to me... anyhow keep up the good work, and if you have time check out some of mine. Adam
It's an excellent poem. This is how I feel at the moment.
