Sonnet- Be Tolerant

The God-believer stops and thinks of God;
He folds his hands, repeating his God's name;
He prays when he's reminded of his Lord,
And for his sins, he bows his head in shame.

Let any man believe in any God;
The God-Believer's better than atheists,
And let him build anything for his Lord;
All men must be better than earthly beasts.

Let man worship in steeple, tower, dome;
And let him call it Church, Temple or Mosque;
And let man call God Allah, Jesus, Om!
All men are sinners, pardon, he must ask.

If man loves God, his neighbors, man must love;
By forgiving, the rest he gets above.
