Sonnet: God’s Divine Plan
Am I like Moses for the people here?
by Dr. A.Celestine Raj Manohar M.D.,
Perhaps, God wants me for their deliverance
From slavery and cheating and great fear;
Perhaps, I’m one with the right temperance.
Although my life till now was pretty bad,
God is my Master true whom I will serve;
Most people seen look famished and ill-clad;
Until my mission ends, how can I swerve?
Why God chose me? I cannot understand,
Nor do I know His plans, He has for me;
Through me, He will show all a better land!
I feel I am already quite weary.
Give me the needed strength, Holy Spirit!
Let me then wear my celestial habit.
