Sonnet-Harmony, The Key To Success

When compass legs are kept apart, widespread;
One stands firmly, the other circles full;
The person holds and moves only the head;
When lightly held, the circle appears dull.

What harmony and unison are seen!
A married pair must like the compass be;
And draw the widest circle in life's scene,
In manner really successfully.

Let spouses act as tho' with common thought;
A unique love entwines their hearts as one;
To face life's challenges bravely, they ought;
And leave no work half-done or ne'er undone.

Great things are done by harmony of mind;
And love of spousal bodies that remind.
