*** Dancing In Flowers ***

You're dancing in flowers this lover's fair
I'm stepping on clouds floating on air,
Swinging on stars dreaming on cue
Sliding down rainbows nearer to you,

You hide behind daisies with buttercup class
Still peeking thru' locks of a golden haired lass,
A bunny falls back as you quickly dance by
As I float down from the super blue sky.

Ah, I see you soft an' so still in a beautiful pose
Smiling hiding in the folds of a rose,
For a kiss indeed I miss thorns so scary,
Inside the rose it's all in a day's work for the love
.............................................................
of a fairy.

beauty's empires, Have certain periods set, and hidden fates Fantastic conclusion. Thanks for sharing.
A typical classic... though am reading Sir John for the first time. Am not sure about the meter or the rhyme, it seems a little haywire but the meaning is fine, and the depth surfaces after a few reads. Interesting poem on refuted love and lost desires.
the fire takes time to set unless it's hit by a bus
Have certain periods set.... thanks for sharing....
But mark the fate of faces; The red and white works now no more on me Than if it could not charm, or I not see. Beautiful, stylish, enjoyable. Thanks
