Sonnet- Man Sins Foolishly

Just like the Elephant that sprays o'er mud,
After its bath in river or a lake;
Just like the Cow that keeps chewing the cud,
Man commits sins although he is awake.

Just like the Crow that rolls over the dirt,
After its bath in stagnant water-pool;
With devils many, man attempts to flirt
Before some suffering makes his head cool.

The man who sins falls into sin again;
To err is human- so man sins freely,
Till punishment from God pours down like Rain
And penitence afills his heart truly.
The man who inhibits his thoughts is great,
When devils try to tempt him and to bait.
