Sonnet-On Spouse-Hunting

To some, it seems-the most difficult job,
-getting a spouse of one's liking and taste;
Despite all care, many finally sob;
Rebuking themselves for their mighty haste.

Yet, some of the Happy-Go-Lucky type,
Just go about this with such undue easel
And things happen so grandly and with hype;
Their gambling pays money and gives mind's peace.

Yet, Marriage is a sacred thing in life.
God, let it not bring on some misery;
For there is hardly time to combat strife;
Let couples enjoy life and be merry.

God, give the partner right to every spouse,
And happy children to fill every house.
