Sonnet- Set Right Your Soul’s State Early

Each man is sinful, right within his head;
There is much sin that lurks around him too;
With time, his conscience becomes also dead;
What could his Angel-Guardian ever do?

There is much punishment within each one;
There is too punishment in world around;
Unless each man, his vices can but shun,
His sins will turn a mountain from a mound.

And when all earthly time given has gone,
Self-realisation comes in the end;
How could remorse and penitence be born?
Unless the grace of God comes as Godsend.

'Tis wise to not ignore one's soul till last;
There may not be time to make up for past.
