Sonnet: Think Of The Unfortunate!

Oh, when I see millions, worse off than me,
Struggling lifetime, to eke a livelihood!
What had I done to have been born lucky?
And bestowed with a near-healthy Man-hood!

O h, when I see children living in streets!
Abegging alms, ill-clad and mal-nourished;
And men with dogs sharing garbage-food, greets;
The thrill of living appears all vanished.

When thousands die or suffer wounds, disease;
Because of wars declared by raving men;
Oh, how I wish this world should quickly cease!
Should earthlings suffer thus to reach Heaven?

But I am sure there is one watching God!
Who cares for poor creatures by just His nod!
