Sonnet: We Need God’s Blessings In Life

And even if you be a King renowned,
Your kingdom stretches miles and miles across,
Your trust in God must be quite strongly found,
’Tis God who blesses leaders to be boss.

Or if you be a beggar born deaf/blind,
Who leads a life of misery near roads,
God’s mercy helps him happiness to find,
His heart can carry heavy, woeful loads.

No matter whom on earth you try to be,
You need God’s blessings for a happy stay,
To lead a fruitful life, exemplary,
And breathe your last in God’s time and His way.

For without God, no man can reap harvest;
The soul that’s pure brings God to dwell as guest.
