Sonnet: When The Sun Comes On

The Earth is so dark moonless night;
Tropical forests don’t have any light;
Life is quiet mostly in the midnight,
Save those animals that shun any light.

The whole world just keeps waiting for daylight,
And suddenly life appears in our sight;
The flora takes off her nocturnal gown;
The leaves look green and the bark is now brown.

The fauna too awaits the Sun’s first rays!
To warm up their bodies in the brightened ways;
And soon the meadow becomes all alive;
The Honey bees buzzing from every hive.

Sniffing the fresh air comes the dancing Fawn!
And Birds sing their songs, heralding the Dawn.
