Sonnet: You Can’t Undo Whatever’s Done

Can one undo the hurt the hurt that’s made by tongue?
When will they heal, the wounds caused by writ word?
What is the use of parliament when hung?
Authority’s no whip to drive the herd!

Can cobra annul venom it had fanged?
Can you put back the flesh pieces of blast?
Can life return to man already hanged?
How long can contempt born of anger last?

Good food is poison if limit is crossed;
The pampered child is problem forever;
A slave hits back when inhumanly bossed;
Nobody stands for long, a high fever!

There is a time to make up for all things;
There are limits for things done by earthlings.
