Sorrow

As I proceed into the funeral home,
I witness tears, embraces, and contentment.
The tears are in remembrance of all the wonderful memories shared throughout the years,
And the yearning for more.
The embraces are a representation of the current support and encouragement,
And also for the grieving moments ahead of them.
The contentment is a depiction that this person who we all appreciated and loved is in a far superior place than what we are in now,
And this person is watching over us.
Their suffering has ended, and life must go on.
