Spilled Heart

Poem By James Grengs

My pen writes in blood-
My soul pours onto the page,
Staining it red. I look down
And see my heart before me.
If I laugh, I choke on my blood.
If I cry, my tears are my blood.
My heart, emotion, spills before me,
Before all who would know me.
