Star Journeys: Morendo...Yet, Reincarnation

Poem By elysabeth faslund

Know that we will meet, before I leave...
In the way of wolves...
Chilling voices through canyons'
Twilight...
Full moon silhouettes,
Frost-puffed, 'I am here.'

We will meet, before I leave...
In the way of eagles...
Winging tumbles through sky
Theaters...
Weaving cloud nests,
Mate-calling, 'I am here.'

Before I leave...
In the way of children...
Giggling echoes webbing
Playgrounds...
Swinging high...low,
Up...return...
Once more, 'I am here.'

What wonderful images. It touches my very soul.
Most spiritual write.. Love it! HG: -) xx
I sense a 'Phoenix like' view of the persona's existence. The persona faces trials and emerges restored rand energized. Former life contexts pass and are replaced with new opportunities. All of life is continual renewal. Whether my reading has any correspondence with your intent I am enthralled by the elegant and optimistic language of this beautiful celebration of life. Just in time for Thanksgiving.
And you know it is the clarinet that is the only instrument (save the human voice) that is able to achieve the perfect morendo. God I love that term and this poem certainly does it sublime poetic justice (and adds the glorious possibility that there is more...) love, Allie xxxx
Vivid, astute images in a captivating and intense write. 'Flying on the wings of a Dove with hope and love' comes to mind....marci.
