Poem By Fallen Too Far

If i wrote a word, I'd write them all
slide them one after another onto the string of the purple evening sky
and clip them to the stars like diamonds
shining and precious
for all to see and kiss beneath
the moon would sigh in jealousy to see the glimmer
of hope hanging in the sky
caught in the reflection of the reflection of the sun
trapped by the silver face of the Man, smiling down
on the silent twilight's lullabies sweetly sung
by the lillies and lonesome roses dining on the fragrance of the last
warm breeze of summer
lifting the words into melodies to float over the tired eyes of the young
and drift into night
following the dreams of the children into the garden of peaceful sleep
where the sun always shines and everything is okay
