Stately Mansion

Stately mansion
All painted white,
Beautiful pictures
Line the walls inside,
Sculptured staircase,
Statues in every room
Oh why, oh why am I,
So unhappy inside

Hand painted ceilings
Chandliers hanging
Marble floors and walls
Birds outside singing,
Beautifil flowers
Of beauty landscapes
Door bells and wind chimes
Melodies ringing

When I walk inside
I know others dream this life
Then why is it when I do
I'm so lonely inside,
Such beautiful things to see
And all around me
Still, as I walk these halls
I'm the loneliest of all

Stately mansion
All painted white,
High architect ceilings,
I'm so lonely tonight,
Others may dream
Of this kind of life,
But this stately mansion,
Is where I'm alone when I cry.
