Storm

Fast moving clouds, darkness coming on
The roll of thunder in the distance
Trees start to sway, lightening in the far sky
Daylight into night with the swiftness of a moment
Hide birds, cover your heads with your wings
Small creatures find your burrows
Noise upon the roof, plink, plink and then a rush of
rain water running in the streets people running
through the drops, children splashing in the puddles
Clouds depositing their bounty upon the earth
Wind blowing hard rushes clouds in the lightning
And then silence, the sun peaks through the rushing
clouds
The air smells of freshness and the leaves are shiny
bright
God has cleaned his earth and fed the flowers, grass
crops and us
His bounty is overwhelming
