Stranger's Eyes On A Train Journey

Poem By Seán O Muiríosa

darting eyes
that protrude,
a textured black

scanning, circling.
voluptuous plums,
succulent

containing stones
hard
as artic ice

cats' eyes
in the tunnel
seeking

through shadows
simple
connectivity

seeking
true ripeness -
a falling

on the
disappearing
journey.
