Such A Love

Cruel ghosts from my past haunt the hours
Shaming heart, torturing the soul
Memories of love and bad decisions
Crushing the spirit into despair.

Never thought to know such a love as yours
Given without question or reproach
Keeping my head above stormy waves
Saving my Muse from drowning
Lost and forgot within inky depths of a heaving sea.
You are my rock amidst surging purple storms
Sweetest, truest love that I shall ever know.
