Such A Love
Cruel ghosts from my past haunt my hours
by Colin Ian Jeffery
Shaming the heart and torturing the soul
With harsh memories of false love and bad decisions made.
I never thought ever to be loved with such a love as yours
Which you give without question or reproach
Holding my head above the foaming crashing storm waves
Which try to drown my spirit with my tormented Muse
All lost and forgotten within inky depths of fierce seas.
You are rock firm saving me from each purple storm.
Before you there was no love with such a strength and purpose
That gave reason for me to greet the morrow's sunset
Your towering love is beyond compare and understanding
Sweetest and truest love I have ever known
And I love you without limitations because you are you.
