Suddenly Missing From Existence
This Earth we inhabit,
by Lawrence S. Pertillar
Is neither above or below...
To the left or the right.
Nor in the center to be depicted,
Any of that in the Universe.
Those self anointed to appoint themselves,
And the better of this or that.
Should instead consider themselves,
Extremely blessed to be able to express...
A gratefulness to Whatever, Whomever the It,
Or the He and She of All of this called 'Life'...
Continues to permit,
The insignificance of ignorance...
Sufficient enough craze with far less intelligence,
Than the minds that have created...
An absolute mystery.
Themselves to be,
More than the Creator of their stupidity.
That has to find these 'mutants',
Doers of unbelievable evil and deception.
Incredibly self serving, entertaining,
And seekers of destruction.
Getting extremely close,
To becoming intolerable obnoxious pests.
That the most patient of 'Deities',
In this entire 'Foreverness'...
"IS IT WORTH ALL THE TROUBLE? "
And the joke these 'mutants' think,
They have provoked on other inhabitants...
Bestowed this experience of life to witness.
May soon witness themselves,
With their lights turned out.
Or more appropriately known as...
Suddenly missing from existence.
With the atmosphere,
Miraculously cleared of all pollutants.
No one remembers to have had them.
