Suicide Alive

Wash the blackness
from your eyes
Close your heart
as it dies
Open your mind
your world undone
Close your senses
all but one

The noose the blade
the gun the pill
Held for so long
against your will
The sun is too bright
the night too dark
Don't miss the spot
don't miss the mark

Emotion intense
numbness regained

Awake your tired eyes
and feel the pain
