Summertime

Poem By Kathryn Rejdych

Sleeping in late,
Staying out til the sun wakes.
Summer nights warm with a cool wind,
driving down a road with the windows down
letting the cool breeze flow through your fingers and your hair.
A time to bring on new love,
A time to go to the beach and relax in the sun and then go swimming,
A time to go camping out in the woods with tents, not trailers.
A time to work your butt off to save for school or your dream car,
A time to discover who you really are.
Break may only be 2 months for some,
but in those 2 months they are sure to have fun.
When summer ends people will go,
Back to highschool, college, university or work
and those summer times will just be memories...
Memories of good and bad,
memories that will forever last

Whatever

I want to say I love you,
but I can't...
I want to say I care for you,
but I won't...

Hated Love

I knew that there was never an 'us'
I dont know why I gave such a fus.
Here you are once again,
and you have the same old girlfriend.

Mixed Feelings

I know i shouldn't feel this way,
but deep down inside me is where you will stay.
You will always be apart of me,
even though it may be hard to see.

Ode To Anorexia

Trying so hard to be thin,
now my new life will begin.
Make a meal then throw it out,
so that my parents will have no doubt.

To My Love

The pain I feel is never ending.
I want so badly for things to go back to normal.
As each day goes by,
I fear you will move on and forget me.

Blinded

Why did I even think it was true?
I thought you wanted me to be with you.
It was just a fantasy built up in my mind,
that I actually thought would come to.
