Sunrise

Poem By Okuola Paul Abiola

At Sunrise...
Prayers were said, Hopes were raised
Strenght were renewed, Dreams were fresh
And Light appears for all to see

At Sunset...
Light fades away
Joy fills the heart of achievers
Tears, sorrow and fear pitch their tent with the lossers
And, gradually, silence takes over

At Night...
The hands of the clock cuts through the silence
Cries of babies far off could be heard
The breeze blows
The cloud send the dew

Gently the birds sings their songs
The Moon ruturns home
Then the cock crows

It is Morning
And there is Sunrise

Oh, what a beautiful and touching poem here, Okuola! You were able to describe here a day to day activity. The morning is an expectant hope. The Evening is the desire to go on and live on until you wait for another day, waiting again for the sunrise. You did the most lovely poem and i know, some of your readers will always wait for that Blessed Hope..Go on, go on, life is beautiful..
