Surviving The Night

Poem By Bobbie Ann Pimm

I heard a soft voice
crying in the long dark night.
Who knew it was me?

Night's blinding darkness
caresses all my senses -
And then I see TRUTH!

Sunrise emerges
through the dark storm clouds of night.
Welcome the new day!

(I wrote each of these Haiku/Senryu separately and at different times in my life. In reviewing some of my old work, I thought they all worked together as one complete poem.)

I love them and the way they are combined with each other! Elya Thorn
Nicely done...appreciate the insight...the blend is bueatiful.
They do seem to blend in a lovely way.
