Swallowed
RB ryan blood (7 august 1992 / resident of tampa, fl)

Swallowed

swallowed whole again
by anger and its warm
, wet mouth
which reeks of mistakes
in times past; I
risk a journey in
madness' belly,
consumed with guilt
i wear, though it is not mine
guilt that is not mine
but comes bubbling like a
geyser, or illness;
i am angry
or maybe livid is the word
livid brings memories of green
livid brings memories of vivid
but i see nothing clearly;
i am climbing up through
anger's mouth to
let you know where i am
and will rest again
someplace else
reclining in the damp, red
cave
lying beside a molar or
sleeping beneath the beast's
tongue
until the mouth is filled
with blood
a papercut on the animal's tongue:
it has been licking envelopes
, invitations for others
to join me.
i find noplace else to reside
