Sweet Hello

Poem By Taylor McAlister

Strolling past,
A fleeting smile.
A touch of the hand,
Eyes to beguile.

Soulful gaze,
Aching heart.
So, so far;
seeming worlds apart.

Lips that smile,
they call to me.
How I wish,
That I could see.

That I could hear,
a sweet sound, bestow.
Whisper to me,
One sweet 'hello'

some reasons are a crime.
some people never make it
some have always shined.

I Saw Her

I saw her,
The pretty girl by the lake
I saw her
The brown hair, the deep eyes
