T'Is The Age
JK James Kent ( / Akron, Ohio)

T'Is The Age

How lonely the wise must be
T'is the age of ignorance
Can thou not see?
Thy thoughts constricted
And words contradicted
For the men in whom we instill our trust
Act in ways we feel unjust
What shall we live to be?
But men of clay
Who bow to other’s decree?
