Tables Are Turning

Poem By Adnana Saric

They told me more than you could imagine,
They told me that you called me insane.
Once you said that you had sent me to hell,
Other times you acted like that you'd help cease my pain.
I heard how you lied about us being together,
You said that you had me under control,
How could you be such a fool?
I can barely look at you anymore,
Because your so called friends are fake.
You were caught up in your reputation,
That the thought of you made me sick,
It was always the same game,
Now who's looking insane?

You never did realize what you had,
Until I walked away and it was too late.
You were good at pretending and cheating too,
But tables are turning,
The pain will be on you.

This Is My Goodbye

There's no use of trying
When there's nothing in the midst.
There's no use of crying
When there's no tears in my eyes.

I'Ll Never Ask You Why

I'll watch my life pass me by,
And I'll force myself not to cry.
I'll never ask you why,
Why the hell did you say goodbye?

To My Baby

A simple kiss,
A simple hug isn't enough.
A thousand calls and visits too,
Couldn't show how much I love you.

When I was as young as a seed,
I sat on my mama's knee.
With a twinkle in my eye,
And a sound once or twice.

Others Despise You

Others despise you,
And I don't know why.
Was it your mistakes, or your bitter lies?
Was it my lectures or long cries?
