Tainted Sweet Nothings
Whispers from cherry red lips,
by Stuart Doggett
Soft and moist and ripe to kiss,
The short taste of absolute bliss,
A sickly song the siren sings.
Whispers sweet and serpentine,
Crawl and curl and intertwine,
Spin and grow and learn to fly,
Fast as fallen angels wings.
Whispers fly from me, from you,
Fly from all I ever knew,
Destroy and rebuild the world anew,
Emerge reborn and ruling as king.
