Take It Back

When i gave my heart to you
It comes witha promise that you'll always be true
That you'll think twice in everything you do
Especially if its about me and you

When you accept it i thought i made it clear
Coz you acted very sincere
And told me words i'd love to hear
A promise that you won't let me cry a tear

Then things suddenly change
You started acting so strange
Suddenly you does unusual things
Without taking consideration someone else is feelings

So i try to figure it out
What all this is about
Then i started to doubt
And wanted to hear it on your own mouth

But you never said anything
Though you knew i know something
Still you continue with what you're doing
Leaving me every night crying

I was wondering when you're going to tell me
That it's not me you’re longin to see
That you're already found somebody
Just like me but not me

One day you came up
All of a sudden everything stops
Then you hand me something
A heart that's still beating

Then you said-i believe this is yours
And all i can say-yah! of course
With a lower voice you said take it back
I'm sorry it's no longer intact

Jane I like your poem. I know the feeling.
across the lines there lies a feeling of injustice done. beautiful lines arise from a lump in the throat. good.
