Tangible Words

Tangible words with no meaning or guilt
Surrounding the soul of the home I have built
Where inside the topics all melt into dust
But written with memories of life that I trust

No matter what's inside the source of my doubt
I'm always afraid of the words that get out
And once I've committed them down, they are past
Who knows where they go to, or how long they'll last

The stronger my feelings, the more I explore
Where words sit inside me and what they are for
Those tangible words, with a chance to convey
The way I am feeling, and what I might say
