Tears Screaming To Be Let Loose

as my tears scream to be let loose
you pretend to be sorry
when you open a door
only a crack
just enough to glimpse
the wonder beyond

as my tears scream to be let loose
you pretend to be sorry
you bolt the door
and leave the world
totally unaware of
the wonder beyond

as my tears scream to be let loose
you pretend to be sorry
you not only lock out the world
but also my heart
i am no longer able to know
the wonder beyond

as my tears scream to be let loose
you pretend to be sorry
when you say there is nothing
on the other side of that door
that it has never revealed any of
the wonder beyond

and so as you hide the key
behind another door
to which i have no access
you pretend to be sorry
all the while
my tears scream to be let loose

I hope you let them loose and that they continue to nurture your poetry.
hello steph this is good poetry from one so young i'm impressed you seem to be mature for your nineteen years which can be scary for a mature human being such as i, being female doubles my fear had a look at your, what we discussed all i can say is very good warm regards AJS
