Terars In The Rain
There once was a time when just walking in the rain,
Was always so refreshing and gave me so much joy.
But now things in my life have drastically changed,
The thought of this now just perpetuates uncontrollable pain.
W hatever happened to the closeness we shared,
It seems so hard to face so many a gloomy day.
You drifting into oblivion, before, you never would have dared,
All my hopes and dreams for happiness seem to be fading away.
The tears that fall from my eyes,
Combined with the drops of rain.
Form the puddles below my feet,
Getting bigger as I walk down the street,
Causing me such feelings of disdain.
The longer the thoughts of you,
keep running through my head.
The more I feel so sad and blue,
My heart and soul feeling so dead.
When will the dismal gray skies turn bright,
And I can feel the warmth I once had known.
Even with you here in my presence tonight,
I so sadly feel miserable, empty, and all alone.
Wishing for the sun to return,
To change the gray skies to blue.
Bringing out the colorful rainbows,
Reds, greens, violets, and yellows......
The colors of spring that say I love you.
