Terrible World

Poem By shakil ahmed

Terrible World

When I see a colorful butterfly flying in the orchard
I find world is beautiful.

When I see a honey-bee sucking honey from the petals of a red rose
I find world is beautiful.

When I see a sixteen year old girl sitting under the shade of a bower
I find world is beautiful.

When I see a lonely deer grazing in the meadow of Kaziranga
I find world is beautiful.

When I see some unknown people are gathering arms in the forest to kill innocent people
I find world is terrible.

I missed you so much
I was waiting to get your touch.

When the gentle moon reigns in the sky
Alighting the dark world

The Bird Sings

People hear the bird sings
Sitting in a branch of a giant tree

Alone

Alone, alone, alone
I was all alone
I was alone in my mother’s womb
I will be alone in my grave beneath the tomb

Fear Of Death

Fear of Death

I am confined in the cauldron of smoke
Coming out of perpetual inferno
