Poem By Papa Crutch
Thales, as history does clearly tell,
a Greek Philosopher, roamed hill and dell,
in search of answer to end the strife;
'What is it; what is the thing called life?
What is this ever-present stuff?
A simple solution would be enough.'
One dark night, a Phili-O friend in tow,
across the midnight country, he did go;
and plunged into the local well.
'Eureka! ' he cried, as lungs began to swell.
'Not paying attention as I ought'er;
I've found it; the basic stuff is Water.'
