That Hometown House(Repost)

It was in that house a home born and lived
Old and young and kids all happily lived
But the old for some years only survived
They passed away one by one, home deprived
But with the rest of the folks home well thrived
Next line of youths grown strong and old revived
All was well and they all happily lived
Lovingly the two generations lived

But soon a turn of life- new trend arrived
Taste for life abroad- the youths wished and vied
One by one all fled away as conceived
Soon the home became empty, nil, deceived
House was left locked homeless bereaved and grieved
It was in that house a home born and lived

A thought provoking poem. Beautiful to read.
