I’m walking here, someone’s bride,
by Alice Shady
The world I see is like a slide;
I hear your voice, my inner guide,
Who’s living deep inside -
Inside my heart where answers lay,
Where always blooms my gaudy May;
My inner king I must obey,
My heart, what will you say?
I have a question in my mind,
Give me the answer, be so kind…
Deep silence… and I seem to find
The answer – deep inside.
My wistful look is on the ground,
And in my head a mystic sound…
It seems to me that I have found
The answer – all around.
